The cluster digital manager for Accor’s premier hotels in the UAE central business hub, Ferry Joseph T Trinidad, has been awarded as one of the Power 25 Marketing and PR Leaders among nominees from South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
This recognition was presented in an online event on 28 September 2021 by the Hoteliers Web as a way of honouring the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry. Out of 100 nominees, he ranked in the Top 11. He is one of Dubai’s hoteliers recognised in the country for their exemplary achievements, marketing campaigns and special initiatives during the pandemic.
Trinidad manages the Dubai World Trade Centre: Novotel, ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central. Since 2010, he has been passionate about digital marketing, pioneering various out-of-the-box e-commerce initiatives in the region and this isn’t the first time he’s been recognised for his work. One of the pillars of the local industry, he has been an active resource speaker advocating for the discipline in the region.
“The best marketing shouldn’t feel like marketing,” says Trinidad. “Marketers should be effective storytellers that can relay truth and life in its most authentic form.” He applies this personal philosophy in all of his marketing campaigns.
