Opening on the Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, Asil, meaning ‘noble’ in Turkish, will take guests on a cultural and culinary adventure through the tastes, sights, and sounds of Morocco, Turkey and Lebanon. On entering, guests are transported into an Aladdin’s Cave of sumptuous fabrics and chandeliers, inspired by the ambience and hospitality of the Arab world.
Set to become the latest Dubai hotspot for locals and tourists alike, Asil will offer an experience like no other. For those that are looking to explore the flavours and sounds of the Arab world, the restaurant and bar offer an array of dishes to tempt the palate, before evolving into a spectacular nightlife space after dinner. For a more laidback vibe, the lounge and terrace offer a variety of shishas and cigars. Resembling a modern majilis, the lounge is perfect for intimate gatherings with friends in a secluded and exclusive setting, whilst the outdoor terrace boasts unrivalled views of the sunset over the Persian Gulf, with the statuesque Ain Dubai framed against ASIL’s mashrabiya.
Fusing the Arabesque flavours of Turkish, Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine, Asil serves authentic dishes with a creative and contemporary approach, such as the Hommous Tantouni, a twist on the popular Turkish street food Tantuni, served over Hommous, Lebanese style. In traditional Arabic fashion, dishes are served sharing style to the table, allowing diners to sample a wide selection from the menu.
Drawing inspiration from the famous bar districts of Beirut, Istanbul, Marrakesh and Casablanca, the Asil experience is not complete without the wide selection of inventive mocktails and cocktails on offer at the central bar.
Asil will play host to a daily line-up of unique entertainment, including a Henna artist that will be on-site offering complimentary Henna for female guests. With music at the heart of Arab culture, Turkish music producer and Resident DJ, DJ Mustech, will be on the decks nightly playing a fusion of house-inspired Arabic and Turkish sounds.
