From economic to excessive, the UAE is well-known for its giant skyscrapers, huge shopping malls and incredible tourist attractions. Abu Dhabi is leading the pack with the biggest and best in theme parks, shopping and a series of buildings classed as ‘super tall’. Etihad Towers is one of the current projects to have realigned the Abu Dhabi landscape with its super tall, über-modern design. The five towers that make up the project consist of one office tower, three residential and a hotel. The tallest of the five reaches 3000 metres and 76 storeys, classing the development as one of the world’s epic ‘super talls’.
At the base of the five towers lies a multilevel podium consisting of designer boutiques, a convention centre and a 167-square metre ballroom that can accommodate up to 1000 guests, as well as a fitness club, wellness centre and the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Grand Lobby. Located directly opposite the Emirates Palace, this is one (or rather five!) pieces of design sure to please the style-savvy Emiratis.
