Qasr al-Hosn or the ‘White Fort’ is Abu Dhabi’s oldest historical building and was constructed in 1791 as the residence of Abu Dhabi’s rulers. The fort is also famous for its stunning Portuguese tile work, dazzling white walls, relaxed courtyards and gardens filled with palms.
