Launched on Saturday 1 August at Media One Hotel, Spirito Restaurant and Bar has brought Brazilian flavour and culture to the heart of Dubai.

The new dining concept brings authentic South American dishes, inspired by street food and the dynamic lifestyle and ethos of native Brazilians. Behind the menu is executive chef, Paul Owens, who has developed and created Spirito’s delicacies. Signature dishes include Pastel De Carne (light and thin pastry filled with spicy braised beef, smashed avocado and lime), Cordeiro (double cut lamb chop with Chimichurri) and Frutos De Mar (Brazilian prawn platter, tempura shrimp, grilled tiger prawn and buttered shrimp with house dip).

Also on the menu are fresh juices, which can be mixed and muddled with Silver Cachaca or Havana Club spirits to create variations of Brazil’s famous Caipirinha cocktail, taking you from daytime dining through to evening.

Located on level 9, the space is vibrant and highlighted with colour. Trios of chandeliers hang from the low-rise ceiling creating a vibrant atmosphere that is elevated through an eclectic sound mix of Latin Jazz, Latin House, Bossa Nova, Samba and Reggae. With a dedicated bar and lounge area, Spirito is Dubai’s next stylish new hangout.
